The Carbon Trust and Vodafone assessed the carbon savings potential that an average teleworker could reach if working from home for a year-long period compared to going into the office. The study also includes an overview of broader implications teleworking could have on infrastructure use and further considerations needed for decision-makers to better plan cities, telecommunications and other infrastructure services for future teleworking with minimal carbon impact.
