Who is it for?

Any organisation, big or small that is committed to baselining their Scope 3 emissions and engaging their workforce in the process.

Who is it for

For Large businesses (250+ staff) the data our tool captures, is part of your Scope 3 emissions. Legally, you must report Scope 1 and 2 emissions (in the UK), but baselining  Scope 3 is strongly recommended. It is also likely to be part of your larger ‘Carbon Reduction plan’, ESG strategy and Science Based Target.

For Small businesses and Self Employed the data and insights can be used for tenders, contracts and to share with your stakeholders who may request it. Most government tenders will ask for this information as part of a ‘Carbon Reduction plan’, and qualifying as BCorp, requires demonstration of action.

Calculate your emissions

Why it is important to measure home working emissions

The transition to remote working has moved carbon emissions produced at the office to the home. Increased home energy costs and increased remote work emissions result from more remote workers. Whether or not remote work is here to stay, it contributes more significantly than ever to many businesses’ carbon footprints.

Your employees still produce home working emissions on your company’s behalf even when they don’t take place at the locations that your business owns.

What causes emissions in a home office?

Simply put, it’s all the technology that your remote workers use to complete their tasks, including computers, monitors, printers, keyboards, lighting, heating, and cooling.

Making environmentally friendly adjustments such as changing to a renewable energy tariff, switching lighting to low energy LEDs bulbs and ensuring devices are turned off fully after use, can help you reduce your carbon footprint at home.

Our hybrid-working tool helps your business and employees calculate their carbon footprint from homeworking and commuting. It is based  on validated methodologies using the GHG protocol and EcoAct’s teleworking approach. It takes employees just 5-10 minutes and the data provided is ready for direct reporting to all major bodies.
